Roles

Product Owner

The Product Owner (PO) is a member of one or more Development Teams, with the explicit responsibility for defining Stories and prioritising the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of project priorities while leaving the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or Components for the developers in the team.

Defining stories includes understanding the clients’ needs, aligning those needs with the project business vision, translating those needs into a set of features and corresponding stories that can be worked on by the development team.

Together with the team, the PO will guarantee that the features developed are useful for the clients, advantageous for the company, and degrade neither the usability nor technical quality of the product.

Part of the role is also to help the company apply to new projects where ticketing can be part.
